The main benefit that your website analytics won't get blocked anymore. This means you finally get accurate data! The problem is that it's complicated to configure. But I figured out a free and simple way using Cloudflare Workers. Google's own page does describe how to configure it on Cloudflare, but it requires an expensive Cloudflare Enterprise subscription.
