My friend @PascalPixel dropped of a @daylightco this week
So I tested it
It's very responsive, I'd say close to as fast as real paper, writing on it is nice, it's fun to illustrate too, I thought @tldraw a drawing app as a website on tldraw .com actually works best
For handwriting I might be the wrong person to judge it because I literally just type everything these days and don't use paper because digital is just way faster (I use Telegram's Saved Messages for everything)
It's also nice to read Hacker News on etc.
One thing that REALLY sucks though and nobody seems to mention is the insane glare this thing has
If you put it on your table and there's a light above you, it'll produce a massive glare and because you have 2 eyes and that glare is in two different spots, it's essentially unreadable because it's so annoying
It only works if you have diffuse (spread) light like outside in the sun
Also the included pen feels great but it doesn't magnetically stick to the side like with an iPad, which seems like a miss because I already keep losing it everywhere
Anyway I rate it a 7/10
I think 8/10 if glare is fixed and pen magnetic
9/10 if color!
