Since Dec 2024, when ChatGPT enabled web search, I began spending a few hours daily into SEO. Here's exactly what I did: - Built free tools - Got featured on 'best-of' review sites (e.g., "Best AI tools for Excel"). - Commented and shared links on relevant Reddit threads Impact & Analysis: +70% Organic impressions for non-branded search terms. ChatGPT traffic DOUBLED. - There's a 0.92 correlation between ChatGPT visits and category search impressions and only a 0.38 correlation with branded ("formula bot") search impressions. - There's a 2.5x stronger correlation between ChatGPT visits and ranking on Google's first page compared to ranking on all other pages.
